Summer Bible Study on
Thursdays
Rev. Paul Feider is
starting an exciting Bible Study on The
Acts of the Apostles. This series will offer any person a deeper
understanding of the power of the Holy Spirit and the love that
changed all of humanity. Rev.
Paul will invite the participants to discover what the original church
looked like, how people discovered the power of the Holy Spirit, and
what this means for us today. "He
has a way of explaining scripture that makes it understandable to
anyone." All people
are welcome to join this Bible study starting Thursday,

Ministry Evening of Reflection -
September 4, 6:30pm
St. John's is hosting a special evening of prayer, teaching,
reflection and sharing for those who wish to enrich their gifts in
spreading the gospel. It will be a time to receive and a time to
share how St. John's can touch the lives of more people with the power
of God's love. Everyone is welcome to join in this special
evening.
A Journey of Inner Healing - Series
September 11, 18, 25, and October 2
Rev. Paul Feider, nationally known author and speaker, will be
presenting a four week series called "A
Journey of Inner Healing," on Thursdays September 11, 18, 25,
and October 2 from 7:00-8:00pm in St. John's Church and Center For
Inner Peace at 1513 Pinewood Lane, New London, WI.
Rev. Feider will be using his book, "Resting
in the Heart" as a text for this healing series.
This series is for those who are searching for inner healing or
for those who seek to help others find inner healing.
The presentations will be offered for four consecutive Thursday
evenings and each session will invite the participants to experience
greater wholeness in the power of God.

Revival Groups -
Groups from October8 - November 20 at various times during the
week.
Revival Groups are small groups which meet in homes and at
church throughout the week to discuss a book called "Gifts." This book takes readers on a spiritual
journey deeper into the heart of God. Groups will meet for seven
weeks to talk about their journey and share the riches of each others
journey.

Service. Many people
are seeking the gift of Jesus’ healing love, even if they are
unaware of it. I encourage
you to welcome people into the healing atmosphere of this event.
We can offer people an eternal gift by putting them in touch

our parish is invited to share in this powerful event.

The Energizing Fire of the Holy Spirit
The energizing
force that empowered the early Christians to impact the world around
them was the power of the Holy Spirit.
This power pushed them beyond their own nationality to invite
all people into the church. It
broke down the barriers between Jews and Gentiles and opened the way
for people of all nationalities to receive the saving love of Jesus.

School for Christian Healing and Spiritual Enrichment Retreat

Hosted by St. John's Center For Inner Peace
The mission of St. John's Center For Inner Peace is to be a "center for inner peace, Christian healing and spiritual enrichment for all
people." To carry out this mission, the Center has developed the School for Christian Healing and Spiritual Enrichment.
This School equips people with the tools and spirituality for healing prayer ministry. The sessions are led by Rev. Paul Feider who is nationally known for his work in spiritual direction, healing prayer and scripture study. Fr. Paul's newest book, "Resting in the Heart" is a resource for healing ministry and is the main text for The
School. The purpose of The School is to offer a place for instruction and support for people of all denominations who seek to carry on the healing ministry of Jesus in their local communities. It is a spiritual and instructional journey that consists of teaching and small group sharing. This is a powerful, life changing
event. The spiritual part of the School is a journey through the Spiritual Enrichment Seminar,
(Life in the Spirit Seminar) inviting the participants to experience the personal love of God, which is the energy for healing ministry. Topics for the School include:

School for Christian Healing and Spiritual Enrichment - Phase 2

This Phase of the School is offered for those who have had some training in healing ministry and would like to learn more. Phase 2 of the School For Christian Healing and Spiritual Enrichment is meant to be a place for instruction and support as people seek to carry on the healing ministry of Jesus in their local communities. It is a spiritual as well as instructional journey.
The mission of St. John's Center For Inner Peace is to be a "center for Christian healing and spiritual enrichment for all people." To carry out this mission the Center has developed this school to equip people with the tools and spirituality for healing prayer ministry. The sessions will be led by Rev. Paul Feider who is nationally known for his work in spiritual direction, healing prayer and scripture study. He has written 5 books and recorded 9 video series on the subjects of healing, scripture and spiritual growth. These will be available as resources at the Center For Inner Peace.
The topics for Phase 2 of the School include: Healing of the Effects of Abortion & Miscarriages, Healing of Divorce, Healing of Bitter Roots and Inner Vows, Ministering to the Terminally Ill, Listening with Jesus’ Ears, Listening to More Than Words, and Healing Rheumatoid Arthritis.
This School is for anyone who wishes to experience healing or to learn about ministering God's healing love to others. Arrival and registration is at 8:45.
